(Industrial Tooling) Workshop Manager

A tooling and machinery repair company is seeking a mature, experienced Workshop Manager  to take full responsibility for their team of workshop technicians, sales reps and admin staff (of 10 in total) who repair a range of power tools, generators, inverters, compressors and the likes.  Requirements Grade 12 or equivalent Must have comprehensive technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical components Drivers license, and own transport  Written and verbal fluency in both English and Afrikaans Microsoft programmes, i.e.
Excel, E-mail ; etc Syspro experience is advantageous but not necessary Essential diagnostic and problem-solving skills, to find the cause of a fault and patience to trace it.
Key Responsibilities Full oversight and management of technicians, sales reps and admin staff Ensuring customers are provided a positive After Sales service as experience Resolving escalated customer complaints/queries, ensuring clear communication, written and verbal, on all Returns/Complaints, to all internal and external customers 2nd line support in for diagnostic fault finding Weekly and monthly reporting Additional Suitability Factors Workshop in Edenvale Extremely stable, national company Salary under R550 000 per annum + medical aid + pension Immediate start!
