Industrial Engineer

Our well-established client is currently seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team to conduct and manage manufacturing improvement activities and resources in line with company targets.
Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Diploma in Industrial Engineering
Project Management (advantageous)
2-5 years' experience

Technical Skills and Specialist Knowledge:

Use of Measuring Equipment
Strong communication skills
Leadership skills to deliver projects, processes, and manufacturing improvements in a lean manufacturing environment
Analytical thinker
Problem-solving skills
Teamwork
Proficiency in MS Office

Objectives:

Eliminate waste and implement manufacturing improvements in line with delegated projects
Drive the business manufacturing excellence strategy by deploying lean principles according to agreed projects
Identify, evaluate and implement improvement ideas that result in tangible improvements in productivity and waste elimination, aligning with the 4-pillar strategy
Effectively manage and deploy resources in line with delegated areas and projects
Review Performance Quality (PQs) monthly
