Industrial Electrician at Square 1 RecruitmentOur client who specializes in providing top-quality conveyor solutions for industrial applications is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join their team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring that they function safely and efficiently. Your work will contribute directly to the reliability and safety of this heavy engineering plant.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure electrical wiring, outlets, and fixtures in line with safety regulations.Set up electrical panels, control systems, and power distribution components for conveyor systems.Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues.Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults in conveyor systems and related equipment.Replace or repair faulty wiring, switches, breakers, and other components.Conduct tests and inspections to ensure proper functionality and safety of electrical systems.Collaborate with engineering teams to commission systems and verify performance.Follow all safety protocols and best practices, including the use of PPE.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.Create detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and repair histories.Provide feedback and recommendations for system improvements.Work closely with engineers, technicians, and project managers to meet project goals.Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving and planning.RequirementsRed Seal Electrician qualificationProof of apprenticeshipValid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations.Minimum of 4 years as an electrician, with specific experience in conveyor systems and industrial electrical work.Experience with 3-phase work, low, and medium voltage systems.Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.If you are a qualified and motivated Electrician looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you!BenefitsR140 per hourDesired SkillsElectricianRed SealIndustrialThree PhaseDesired Qualification LevelGrade 12 / MatricAbout The EmployerThis Job Opportunity is advertised by Square 1 Recruitment, we are a Permanent Placement Agency.
