As an Industrial Designer at our attraction exhibition design agency, your mission is to seamlessly integrate innovative and functional exhibit furniture and technology solutions that enhance the visitor experience. You will leverage your architectural knowledge and design skills to create compelling and realistic renderings, guiding the design team and securing client buy-in. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures that all drawings and specifications are accurate, serving as a critical foundation for successful project execution.In this role, you will play a pivotal part in planning and costing proposals, supporting the Head of Exhibition Design in delivering projects on time and within budget. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and manage external service providers to ensure the highest quality output, maintaining our agency's standards of excellence. Your ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders will drive the seamless integration of design and production processes, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.Your commitment to excellence and continuous improvement will be instrumental in achieving our agency's objectives. By producing innovative and practical design solutions, you will help create memorable and impactful visitor experiences. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and dedication to quality will ensure that each project not only meets but exceeds client expectations, solidifying our reputation as a leader in museum exhibition design.Accountabilities:Design ConceptualisationAccurate Drawings and SpecificationsCost Estimations and Budget AdherenceCoordination with External Service ProvidersIntegration of Technology with FurnitureTimely Project DeliveryQuality Assurance and StandardsClient and Team CollaborationKey Criteria/Requirements:Educational Background:Requirement: A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Architecture, or a related field.Relevant Experience:Requirement: At least 3-5 years of experience in industrial design, preferably within the museum or exhibition design industry.Technical Skills:Requirement: Proficiency in design and modeling software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar.Portfolio of Work:Requirement: A strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects, particularly those involving exhibit furniture and technology integration.Project Management Abilities:Requirement: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets.Key Competencies:Creative Thinking and InnovationTechnical ProficiencyAttention to DetailProject ManagementProblem Solving AbilitiesInterpersonal SkillsClient FocusCommunication SkillsKnowledge of Materials and Manufacturing ProcessesAdaptability
