Job Description
The Indirect Contract Specialist will be responsible for drafting, and managing contracts with distributors to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the diagnostic industry.
Contract Drafting:

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with distributors, ensuring alignment with partner manager, company policies and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with the legal team to ensure all contracts comply with legal standards and mitigate potential risks.
Coordination and negotiation of contract terms with internal stakeholders to achieve favourable outcomes for the company while maintaining positive distributor relationships.

Contract Management:

Oversee the lifecycle of distributor contracts, from initiation through execution and renewal.
Maintain an organized system for tracking contracts, their status, key dates, and obligations. Maintain repository required for tender documentation.
Ensure timely renewals and amendments to existing contracts as needed.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure all distributor contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with distributor contracts.
Conduct regular audits of contracts to ensure compliance and address any discrepancies.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, finance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure cohesive contract management and tender management where applicable.
Serve as the primary point of contact for distributor contract-related inquiries and issues.
Communicate contract terms and obligations to relevant internal stakeholders.
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on contract management best practices and procedures.
Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations affecting distributor contracts.
