To live up to our Always with Purpose employee value proposition, we're putting the development and growth of colleagues first by ensuring everyone at Anglo American has the career experience they deserve.Job DescriptionRole will be based in Kathu, Northern CapeServe as the business relationship conduit for the allocated site stakeholders on Global IM Technologies.Enable the business to achieve its objectives through the effective use of technology.Implement, track and monitor performance dashboards and highlight opportunities for improvement across relevant sites.Implement and deploy consistent practices (Anglo American OM model) of Contractor and Contract Management for all vendors at a site level to improve the quality of service delivered to the operations.Seek advice from centralised competencies, industry experts and operational expert teams.Integration and Collaboration across peer groups.Implement and Support Commercial and Operational technology principles, standards and designs for operations.Support the prioritisation of localised IM (Commercial and OT) Solution "Demand Requests" and ensure resourcing synergies are captured across sites.Manage and take responsibility for the overall remediation of all IM critical service disrupting incidents (including RCA and remediation plans and actions).Monitor and control all global IM priority calls (Incident Management).Ensure Global IM services are delivered according to standard operating procedures and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).Focus on global IM customer service, troubleshooting and immediate time-bound response for the Global IM users.Monitor the performance, cost, and demand within the business economic context and approve budgets in the Global IM environment.Identify service improvement opportunities from data trend analysis and Global IM customer input/need.Prepare and distribute IM monthly performance reports.Monitor and manage onsite Global IM contractor resources to ensure alignments with the contract and SLA expectations (safety, contractor packs, etc.).Ensure effective Global IM change management processes are in place for any new infrastructure or system changes at the site and regional levels.Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the Global IM organisation.Understand technological trends in Global IM and use this to propose solutions to business, in conjunction with the relevant Technical Specialists.Coordinate communication with all business areas that impact the Global IM project processes, budgets, and site risk assessments.Adhere to the safety protocol in the region and be a safety leader for all Global IM activities.QualificationsAn undergraduate qualification (bachelor's degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM Discipline and Technical.Desirable: It would be advantageous to have a postgraduate qualification in the related IM discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity.Technical Knowledge:IT and OT discipline and governance.Change management and stakeholder engagement.HQ, Regional and Frontline IM services, toolsets and standards.Team leadership to ensure effective resource utilisation across the portfolio.Regional and local conditions.Analyse challenging scenarios and requirements from vendors, peers and business.Liaise with a professional team on solutions, designs, and architecture to make sure the roadmaps are followed and aligned with IM and Business strategies, analyse and identify risk root causes and quantify potential business impact.Implement solutions to reduce the level of exposure and risk.Interpret policy and explain why work needs to be completed in a particular manner.Explain how a specific process task needs to be fulfilled.Engage with key stakeholders and understand their requirements.Assign and re-assign work to ensure outputs and the elimination of waste.Participate in Regional initiatives, projects and business initiatives and deliver on technical solutions, processes, and requirements.Perform continuous monitoring reviews to make sure that the process aligns with the overall systems.Deliver a portfolio of Global IM services to client and site base.Housing will be provided.Additional InformationWho we areWe aim to lead the industry by pursuing ever safer and more responsible ways of working, demonstrating integrity and showing care and respect for people and the planet.
