A company in the Engineering industry is looking to hire a Repairs Coordinator. This person will be responsible for managing the repair process of industrial components, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. This role involves coordinating with clients, technicians, and suppliers, maintaining accurate records, and overseeing the logistics of repair operations. The individual must have :Must have working experience with industrial gearboxesCoordinate and schedule repair activities for industrial equipment, ensuring efficient workflow and minimal downtimeCommunicate with clients to understand their repair needs and provide updates on the status of their equipmentAssign tasks to technicians based on their skills and availability, ensuring optimal use of resourcesMaintain accurate records of all repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and costsLiaise with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of necessary parts and materialsMonitor the progress of repairs and troubleshoot any issues that arise to ensure timely completionEnsure compliance with safety standards and company policies throughout the repair processGenerate reports on repair activities, including performance metrics and client feedbackQualification: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in industrial equipment maintenance or engineering would be preferred A minimum of 3 years of experience in a repair coordination or similar role, preferably within the engineering industry or related industryStrong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple repair projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, technicians, and suppliersProficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant toolsKnowledge of industrial gearboxes and repair processesStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
