Icu Trained Registered Nurse In Jhb East Rand

We have a vacancy for an ICU Trained Sister for one of the leading Private Hospital group based in Johannesburg East Rand area.

Key outputs:

Providing quality basic and specialized nursing care
Continual communication with the patient and family with regards to the patient's condition
Administering medication in accordance with ethical and legal frameworks
Reviewing and complying with internal policies and protocols
Ensuring quality management systems and initiatives are conducted according to the unit specification
Advocating for the patient by motivating acuity to case management and notifying the doctor of any limitation

Requirements:

Post Basic Qualification in critical care
Registration with SANC
Ability to work shifts according to the operational requirements of the hospital
Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges, and role players would be an advantage
Strong interpersonal skills required
At least 2 year of experience in Intensive Care Unit or High Care Unit will be an advantage
