Must be skilled in Solid Works design and the ability to do complex industrial and Mobile hydraulic designs. Mechanical engineering degree and 2 years solid design skills required. Johannesburg South.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThis is an exciting broad role where you will be involved in a wide range of Engineering tasks, from conceptual design to machine commissioning. Key tasks will cover all aspects of the design and production of relatively complex mobile and Industrial machines and equipment. Reviewing / updating both Hydraulic existing designs and designing new once-off machines against customer specifications and industry standards.Requirements:BEng Mechanical Engineer/ BSc Mechanical Engineering/ BTech MechanicalMinimum 2-5 years' experience in the hydraulics design industryGood understanding of hydraulics design for mobile and Industrial hydraulic designs.Proven 3D Skills in Solid EdgeGood problem-solving skills.High ethical standardsResponsibilities:Responsible for producing practical new designs to tight timescales.Producing hydraulic designs from first principal designs according to technical specificationsProducing calculations and supporting design documentsWorking closely with electrical, software and mechanical design engineers, to produce a well-integrated machine.Creating Bills of Materials for your designs and liaising with purchasing and production personnelBeing involved with assembly, commissioning and testing of new machines.Application ProcessPlease apply via our website: www.edrecruiters.co.za or alternatively submit your CV to ****** - Reference Pta003037.
