Qualifications and ExperienceDegree in HR or similar NQF 7 tertiary qualification and with experience in a manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practicesCompetenciesAbility to work in a highly unionized and robust working environmentSound understanding of all relevant and applicable labour laws of the Republic of South AfricaAbility to liaise with relevant government Departments of the Republic of South AfricaAbility to represent the company in litigations at the CCMA a well as in other relevant statutory councils.Must have strong management style to guide management and team members on labourrelations and performance managementEnsure that the company is compliant with EE, Skills development, BCEA, UIF and other legislative requirements governing HR environmentEssential dutiesManage the day-to-day HR functions which includes Recruitment & Selection, Discipline issues, and all the relevant reports, HR Administration, Training and Development, Performance Management, Benefits and Compensation.Provide management with advice and coaching on all HR related issues such as compensation, benefits, safety, performance and staffing levels.Responsible for Strategic Management and Change ManagementLead negotiations with unions and other meetings with management
