A challenging opportunity has become available for a self-motivated, highly driven, and innovative individual to join Grindrod Terminals at their offices in Richards Bay, KwaZulu Natal.Job descriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Implement talent management initiatives in line with Group Strategy.Ensure workforce planning, maintain staff establishments, org structures, job descriptions, job evaluation, job grading.Identify deviation from Human Resources planning and implement corrective action.Ensure co-ordination of acquisition process at a Business Unit level in line with Group HR Talent acquisition Policy and standard operating procedures.Ensure seamless and smooth onboarding of the new staff.Ensure co-ordination of Talent development process in line with Group HR Talent Development Policy and standard operating procedures including but not limited to implementation of WSP and collation of ATR.Notification of training programs to staff.Ensure co-ordination of Individual Development Plans for succession development and career planning.Performance Management – support and co-ordinate performance system.Ensure collation of EE statutory reporting and planning and submit to Group Human Resources.Implement employment equity and affirmative action plan at a Business Unit Level.Ensure that implementation of standardized policies and procedures across Richards Bay.Maintain company policies, ensure compliance and report on deviations.Support local management on relevant HR/ER matters.Ensure adherence to legislation, regulations, and codes of good practice and Group HR/ER policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with relevant Industrial Relations issues with the Laws, Rules and Regulations, report deviations to The National Manager HR.Assist with facilitating the resolution of disciplinary actions and grievances.Overseer personnel administration and employee benefits.Collate HR month end report and submit to the National Human Resources Manager.Ensure currency of HR administration policies and practices.Salary and benefit related assistance to admin department.Collation of COIDA claims and returns for submission to group HR.Maintain accurate records and process relevant documents with no delays.Assist National HR Manager with SANS HR ad hoc project coordination (ESG, RECOGNITION NOMINEES AWARDS INITIATIVES).Maintain satisfactory audit findings in the area of responsibility.Minimum requirementsGrade 12 with Post Graduate qualifications in HR/Administration, Knowledge of relevant employment legislation.Tertiary Qualification in HR related field.7-10 years in HR Generalist, Administration environment in a Logistics/Terminals.3 – 5 years in a similar industry.Code 8 driver's license.The applicants to send their CV to the HR Department on email: ****** Date: 14 August 2024
