Although this position is based in Johannesburg, ARGI operates throughout the African continent, the HR Manager position will require occasional travel. JOB POSTING NUMBER: 848f1bd4 Role Overview: As the Human Resources Manager at ARGI, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the organization. You will develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy. Your role will include managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. You will also play a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures. - Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent. - Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement initiatives. - Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. - Implement and manage performance appraisal systems that drive high performance. - Provide support and guidance to managers and staff on HR-related matters. - Develop and oversee training and development programs. - Manage payroll and benefits administration. - Foster a positive work environment and promote ARGI's values and culture. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or 10 years of experience in a management and leadership role in Human Resources. - Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred. - Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role. - Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations. - Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Military background is a plus. - Willingness to travel as required by company operations.
