You will support the HR team in various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management. This role requires an individual who is people-focused, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about South African labor laws.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding: Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related queries, assist in resolving employee issues, and promote a positive workplace culture.Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and internal HR policies. Assist in developing and implementing policies in alignment with local regulations.Benefits Administration: Assist in managing employee benefits, answer employee questions related to benefits, and liaise with external providers.Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain and update employee records, handle documentation related to new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.Training & Development: Support training initiatives by coordinating sessions and tracking participation and development metrics.Performance Management: Assist in the implementation and management of performance appraisals and development plans.Qualifications and SkillsEducation: Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in an HR support role, ideally within a South African business environment.Knowledge: Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations.Skills:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (e.g., Sage HR, Psciber etc.).Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
