A leading company in the Food, Service and Technology industryare looking to recruit a recently admitted attorney with a passion for (if not some experience in) Employment Law, for a generalist Human Capital role with a specific focus on ER/IR matters; dispute resolution and litigation from CCMA through to Labour Court.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe role will be a Human Capital Generalist role with a specialized focus in IR/ER:The first aspect (HC Generalist) will be responsible for the full HC function for allocated branches (which allocation may change from time to time, but will commence with Gauteng and outlying branches – JHB, PTA, Mbombela, Polokwane, and Gabarone).This involves supporting these branches by providing specialist advice and support to line managers.Attending to certain administration and reporting functions relating to Human Capital.The IR/ER specialization will involve attending to internal and external disputes as the internal expert in this area.Minimizing internal disputes through ER management.Developing ER/IR/Employment Law training material based on identified needs.Delivering said material to line managers in the business.Coordinating and managing IR/ER training via train-the-trainer method through other HR Practitioners in the business.Litigating from CCMA to Labour Court when necessary.The candidate will be upskilled internally on the Human Capital practitioner role – and will in turn upskill the existing human capital practitioners in employment law (IR/ER) matters.The career path may naturally lead to the Head of Human Capital role over time; but is also open for development into other management roles, both corporate and operational.Desired Experience & QualificationMatricLLB DegreeAdmitted AttorneyValid driver's licensePackage & RemunerationR30 000 per month + Cellphone allowance of R750 + pension fund company contribution of 9.5% + Company contribution of 50% towards medical aid with Discovery up to the Classic Comprehensive plan level + Annual Bonuses are also available at company discretion coupled with performance.
