Job Description Track the level of alignment with people management operations, systems and payroll configuration in line with legislative requirements for local and global operations, by tracking the number of queries arising.
Track the regularity to ensure collaboration with the human capital payroll, systems and operations management, to ensure effective and efficient governance related to multi-jurisdictional legislative compliance, as it applies to employee earnings, deductions and benefits.
Track and manage the timeousness and accuracy of third-party submissions across all AECI Countries as it pertains to employee earnings, deductions and benefits.
Assess the efficacy of stakeholder management internationally and locally with the applicable legislative authorities and third-party vendors.
Manage the ongoing governance and technology improvement recommendations.
Track the internal audit queries relating to procedural compliance for overall good corporate governance related to people management transactions.
Complete and update procedures, processes, and standard operating procedures that enable and support optimal compliance to people-related legislation across the AECI Group.
Report on the tracking results related to the relevant workplace legislation and regulation compliance across local and global operations.
Track the provision of data and supporting analysis in support of the AECI strategic people management imperatives.
Track the number of communications and training to all internal stakeholders relevant to each country to ensure compliance.
Assess the effectiveness and efficiency planning and tracking of legislative and compliance-driven submissions for the AECI Global Shared Services.
Track the percentage of payroll transactions processed accurately and in compliance with the relevant legislative and regulatory transactional parameters.
Track the number of payroll-related legal disputes or legal claims.
Assess the efficacy and applicability of rules and policies in relation to other Human Capital practices, policies, and the Human Capital digital platform.
Track the percentage of audit findings arising from internal and external compliance audits and ensure there is an ongoing decrease in negative findings.
Qualifications & Experience Minimum of a 3 Year Degree / Diploma (NQF 7) in Finance / Accounting / Economics / Business Analytics. 8 years' experience in Payroll / Finance / Accounting environment, of which at least 2 years should be at Supervisor/Specialist level. Certified Payroll Administration Practitioner (SAPA) SAP Cert HCM - Human Capital Management (advantage) Engagement with diverse, external international stakeholders in managing legislative risk. Experience in working across a broad spectrum of industries – from white collar to unionised environments.
