The Hub Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of a hub. This role involves managing staff, optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.Requirements:Relevant qualification+8 years experience in Courier Logistics and WarehousingExperience in managing drivers+4 years experience as a ManagerUnderstanding of EcommerceStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, team leaders, drivers, and operational staff.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the distribution center, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.Manage the hub fleet and contract drivers.Send weekly reports and updates.Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.Implement inventory control measures to accurately track and manage stock levels.Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.Collaborate with transportation and logistics partners to optimize the inbound and outbound flow of goods.Monitor transportation schedules, carrier performance, and freight costs.Ensure the distribution center complies with safety regulations and standards.Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and productivity of the distribution center.Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.Address customer complaints or concerns related to distribution center operations.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Develop and manage budgets for the distribution center, controlling expenses and maximizing cost-effectiveness.
