This position requires a dedicated professional who will play a crucial role in managing health, safety, and environmental practices at our client's mining operations.
Responsibilities Develop and manage HSE policies and procedures tailored for mining operations Conduct comprehensive risk assessments in line with mining activities Provide training and support to mine employees on HSE standards Monitor HSE performance, ensuring adherence to company protocols and legislation Lead investigations into accidents and near misses, preparing reports with actionable insights Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant mining safety laws The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the mining industry's safety regulations and demonstrate a commitment to promoting a proactive safety culture.
