My client in Vereeniging has a position for: HR SUPERINTENDENT. The role is responsible for providing life-cycle management capabilities that assist management in supporting employees through every phase of their service within the company, enabling management to find the best people, leverage their talent, align employee goals with business goals and retain top performers. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:Manage and facilitate the handling of all internal employee discipline by ensuring that all grievances and disciplinaryactions are acted upon according to policies, procedures and standardsProvide effective staff movement & recruitment services to line management through conducting recruitmentactivities aligned to the recruitment processBuild and maintain effective stakeholder relations with internal stakeholders (recognized unions and associations, linemanagement and employees)Transformation / Employment EquityEffective change and communication process managementEffective people management, ensuring that roles are well defined and clarified and that competencies are developedto human capacity and capabilityFinancial Budgeting & Management Requirements:Degree / National Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent, occupationally directed ETD Practice or similar field. HR Manager Graduate Degree / Diploma in Human Resources Management / Industrial Psychology (NQF Level 7)5 years experience in Human ResourcesExperience in end-to-end HRExperience in project managing an HR related project that included organisational transformation or change managementExperience in dealing with trade unionsSolid knowledge of mining and other relevant legislation incl: Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act; Mine Health and Safety Act; BBBEE Act, 2003; Minerals Codes of Good Practices; Mining Charter; Labour Relations Act, 1995; Basic Conditions of Employment Act, 1997; Employment Equity Act, 1998; Skills Development (and Levies) Act, 1998; Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993Strong customer service orientationKnowledge of HR theories and principles, and benchmarksSound knowledge of HR policies and procedures and legislative requirements in terms of complianceKnowledge of talent management and resourcing as well as HR reportingStakeholder Management SkillsConflict management skillsProject management skillsReport writing skillsComputer Literacy: MS Office and SAGE/SAPValid drivers licenseIn possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness Advantageous:Coaching & Mentoring,S3 ORMPSupervisory Development
