Macmillan Davies are looking to attract a HR Shared Services Manager to create a new function on behalf of a rapidly growing, highly acquisitive organisation based in Greater Manchester.
With a recently strengthened People team, and an impressive CPO ensuring that the people strategy is at the heart of everything the business do, it's now time to bring on board a HR Shared Services Manager to enter in to the business and establish a setup to provide a best in class service to the entire business as it grows.
About the role Reporting to the Head of People, the HR Shared Service Manager will be asked to:
Build a centre of excellence, ensuring a thorough understanding of HR practices and the technical aspects that underpin them and translate into ways of working.Process design, initiation, and improvement in conjunction with key stakeholders.Define, design, and create appropriate MI (Management Information) in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders.Develop SLA's (Service Level Agreements) with the business and manage delivery of service to those SLA's.Develop and manage KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and KRIs (Key Risk Indicators) and manage the services to those KPIs and KRIs.Effectively manage change, ensuring your team are always change ready.Manage resources effectively to ensure that your team delivers exceptional service.Provide overall governance on the full range of employee services that sit within your function.Work with IT colleagues to ensure the technology used to deliver services is fit for purpose and can support business requirementsAbout you It's an exciting time to join the business in it's current state as there is plenty of opportunity to seize and a great people team to perform within. As such, we need somebody with demonstrable experience of preferably managing, or working within a HR Shared Service function. You will have a knowledge of appropriate employment law and HR best practices. You will take pride in coaching and developing others. Bringing a tech led approach you will possess strong business acumen. Just as important as your HR knowledge will be an ability to shape a new role in a changing and expanding business alongside a readiness to constantly seek improvement, whilst striving for a best-in-class service provision.
What's on offer Salary up to £55,000 plus benefits (bonus, PMI, generous pension).
The business operates a hybrid approach to the working week (2 days in the office) and head office is in Greater Manchester.
