Job DescriptionAs an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for the management of the HR Administrator team, providing expert guidance and support on various HR and payroll administration functions. You'll leverage your extensive knowledge of HR processes, legislation and best practices to deliver customised solutions that meet our customer needs. You'll be instrumental in ensuring an efficient and effective operation for our diverse portfolio of customers, encompassing identification of risks and requirements and the subsequent changes to people, system or process.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a team to strive and achieve first time resolution where applicable of queries/requests within scope/mandate related to HR disciplinesManagement of daily reportingManagement of HR System workflows and assigningEnsure adherence to service level agreements, quality standards and adherence to policies and proceduresProvide ongoing support and troubleshooting for HR system related issuesCoach junior team members and contribute to a culture of learning and developmentManaging of projects tasked to the HR Administrator team, ensure that deadlines are achievedConduct comprehensive HR System audits to ensure accuracy, compliance and manage potential riskAccurate resource planning and workforce management to ensure sufficient resources to deliverManagement of individual and team KPA'sEnsuring that our training material remains accurate and up to dateMaintain confidentiality of sensitive data and employee informationStay abreast of legislative changes and industry trends to inform best practicesPerform other administrative tasks as neededQualification And ExperienceHR or Payroll related Diploma3 years HR/Payroll experience as a highly skilled competence levelTeam leadership experience advantageousCustomer Service/user experience passionSound knowledge and experience with HR systems and practices (preferably Oracle)Sound knowledge of ER related policiesGood understanding of HR administrative, consulting and transactional activitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time-management skillsUnderstanding of the Retail business context is an advantageSkillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsGood MS Office (Excel) skillsReview and ReportingManaging ChangeBusiness Case ContributionHuman resources systems and toolsPresentation CreationSpreadsheet ExpertiseBehavioursApplies market and business insights to drive organisational objectivesEffectively works with others to achieve shared goalsCreates an environment that fosters and nurtures a culture of creativity which drives successDevelops plans and prioritises initiatives that align to the organisational goals and objectivesUnderstands and navigates dynamics created by processes, systems, and peopleAssesses and improves the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of various work processesQuickly adapts and acquires new knowledge, skills, and competencies in a rapidly changing environmentInterprets and simplifies complex and contradictory information when resolving organisational problemsTakes accountability and ensures others are held to account on agreed upon performance targetsSets ambitious goals and takes focused action to achieve desired outcomes to deliver measurable resultsPreference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.About UsWho we are is because of our people.
