Roles and responsibilities: - Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labour relations and negotiation and personnel information systems - Knowledge of human behaviour and performance, individual differences in ability, personality and interests and learning and motivation - Advising all employees on the interpretation, application and implementation of Employment Law and policies, procedures and processes. - Facilitate the management and promotion of fair and sound Labour Relations by interpreting and applying the Employment Equity Act; Labour Relations Act; Basic Conditions of Employment Act; Workplace Law; Compensation Occupation Injuries Dispensation (COID) Act; Occupational Health and Safety Act and Bargaining Council (wages, annual leave, climatic conditions) - Ability to manage CCMA, BIBC and BCCEI disputes and resolutions, including conflict between employees - Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with management, staff and external communities so as to ensure the smooth facilitation of project completion. - Ability to work accurately and efficiently with attention to detail while following established procedures. - Assisting with confidential documentation preparation as required Please Note: If you haven't received a response within two weeks, kindly regard your application for the vacancy as unsuccessful.
