Are you an extroverted and eloquent professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dedicated HR Officer to join our dynamic team in the picturesque Camps Bay. In this essential role, you will ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies while supporting our commitment to employee development and well-being.
What you will bring:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer who excels in managing HR functions. The ideal candidate will possess:

Compliance Expertise: Ensure adherence to all HR-related legislation and amendments, including LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHSA, and COIDA.
Recruitment and Onboarding Skills: Assist with the recruitment process, onboarding new staff, and facilitating training programs to enhance employee skills.
Employee Relations Management: Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain a positive workplace environment.
Payroll and Benefits Administration: Manage payroll, leave, and benefits processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Performance Management Support: Assist with performance evaluations, disciplinary actions when necessary, and overall HR administration.

Minimum requirements:

Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
Legislative Knowledge: Familiarity with all relevant HR-related legislation; experience with Sectoral Determination 6 and 14 is advantageous.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) at a minimum of Level 2; familiarity with the VIP Premier Payroll System is preferred.
