The Role
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment of new employees:

Drawing up of contracts
Uploading on the clocking system
Capture on payroll system
Issuing of uniforms

Leave:

Preparing leave forms
Ensuring that employees have adequate leave before completing leave forms
Capturing on clocking system
Capturing of sick leave forms

Payroll:

Importing hours from the clocking system to the payroll
Capturing of: Salary deductions, Incentives, Increases, Garnishes, Loans, etc.
Terminations
UIF & month end reports to relevant auditors
Month end payroll reports to management
Preparing & issuing of payslips
Dealing with all queries on payroll

Disciplinary interviews & hearings:

Preparing charges
All documentation to be forwarded to the relevant labour broker
Issuing notification letters to relevant employees
Attend hearings including CCMA hearings.

Skills and Experience

Five years' experience including working in a retail environment which is essential.
Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving skills to handle unexpected challenges and deliver solutions.
Good experience in leading a team or group.
Strong organisational and planning skills
Must be a team player who can work well with others and foster a positive team environment.
Must have a driver's licence with own transport.

Other
Working at weekends will be a requirement.
