Details of the offer

Responsibilities:Resourcing across the business (All locations and Business Units)Liaise and consult with line managers with regards to recruitment needsFormulate advertisements and distribution thereof through effective channelsScreen candidates and conduct interviews in line with talent requirements and goalsWork within agreed time frames to ensure recruitment needs are metFormulation and update of relevant policies and proceduresExecution of appropriate end to end resourcing processResponsible for all associated paperwork from requisition till onboardingResponsible for managing relevant resourcing platformsLiaise with Learning and Development Practitioner pertaining to induction of new startersResponsible for ensuring sustainable pipelinesAligning of the resourcing strategy with company employment equity strategy/plan, and ensuring the implementation and tracking thereofManagement of succession planning and performance reviewsEnsure performance contracts are in place and regular goal reviews completedFormulate succession planning procedures and monitor implementationAdministration of the performance management systemProvide support with regards to the roll out of bi-annual performance reviewsLiaise with the business regarding current staff compliment and immediate, mid and long term succession plansResponsible for ensuring sustainable pipelines by means of networking and creative sourcing Effective management of employee relations and industrial relationsSupport the business in maintaining an appropriate industrial relations environment and sound working relationships with all stakeholdersResponsible for the execution of relevant disciplinary processes and the administration thereofAssist with associated policies and procedures to ensure it is appropriate and relevant Departmental Support and AdministrationResponsible for the onboarding and off-boarding processAssist with the maintenance of HR information system and act as HRIS Champion for the departmentAssist with minutes of meetingsMonitor and audit compliance to relevant HR related policies and proceduresIdentify any shortcomings or gaps in departmental policies/procedures and ensure these are rectified appropriatelyEmployee record managementProvide support, and in instances take lead/chair, with regards to the various internal committees such as (not limited to) EESD, Employee Forum, SocialIdentify key business challenges and identify HR interventions where appropriateManaging relevant purchase ordersBudget management Health and SafetyParticipate in safety forums and attend relevant training/programmesReport all safety incidents to the relevant peopleComply with safety policies and proceduresWear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times Employee management and developmentEnsure overall compliance to relevant procedures and policiesEnsure that all team members have clearly defined job profilesRegular goal reviews are completed to assess achievement of resultsSupport, coaching and mentoring is continuously provided to ensure that objectives are metAppropriate allocation of resources to meet operational demandsEnsure adequate succession planning in order to meet ongoing and anticipated business requirementsQualification and ExperienceRelevant Tertiary qualification essentialA minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Human ResourcesProven experience in Resourcing and Employee Relations (IR)
