Hr Consultant

Key areas of responsibility:Resourcing and Talent planning;HR Reporting;HR Administration Procedures;Good understanding of the HR value chain;Good understanding of Performance Management Systems;Good understanding of South African Labour Law and its application;Customer Service and Relationship Management;Knowledge and understanding of HR Statistics;General HR support;Ensuring compliance with Company Policies and Procedures;Liaise with the ETDP SETA;Co-ordinate Staff Study Assistance programs;Extensive knowledge on Learning and Development initiatives such as Work Place Skills Plans;Various other ad hoc duties as determined by the position.Key Skills required:Planning and Organising;Verbal and Written Communication;Change and Project Management;Interpersonal and Relationship Building/Maintaining;Ability to work independently, accurately and under pressure;Drives accountability and high performance;Assertiveness and leadership;Decision making;Change champion;Attention to detail.Competencies required:Enthusiastic, energetic and flexible;Diplomacy;Integrity;Ability to work under pressure;Conflict management;Self-motivated;Confidence;Ability to use initiative;Excellent customer focused skills.Qualifications:Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology.Experience:Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a Generalist HR environment and knowledge of relevant HR Legislation and Payroll procedures.
