Our client is seeking a HR Compliance Officer to join their team, based in Grahamstown.
Suitable candidate will be required to develop and implement standardized procedures and documentation across all units of the business and ensure ongoing compliance and adherence, including but not limited to OHS, BCEA, farm workers sectorial determination and any other laws/ acts relevant.
Minimum Requirements:- Human Resources / Project Management or Law qualification (degree preferable) Certificate or equivalent experience in Project Management preferable Minimum 2 years experience in Project Management or Human Resources and Labour Relations environment Liaising with diverse teams and colleagues to achieve the desired outcomes Conducting training Engaging at all levels in order to ensure stakeholder collaboration Specific Agricultural industry experience will be beneficial Must be fluent in Xhosa Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Digital affinity Attention to detail and compliance-orientated Coordination and planning skills Must be prepared to travel, if required Ability to work independently is essential Duties:- Ensure compliance for all units on Health & Safety Ensure compliance for all units on Water and Sanitisation Ensure compliance for all units on all Department of Labour inspections and drive inspection with unit Health & Safety BCEA (including farm workers sectorial determination) COIDA Housing Water & Sanitization Other Ensure any compliance orders are monitored and corrective action implemented timeously Build key knowledge on all relevant areas of law / acts Build and implement procedures and standard documentation Assist in disciplinary enquiries Drive DoL inspections and ad-hoc HR audits Assist in any other supporting function for the HR team
