Hr Administrator - Pinelands(Cape Town)

IntroductionWe are currently seeking an HR Administrator in Pinelands, Cape Town. This opportunity offers a permanent position. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records, managing employee data, and supporting HR processes using Zoho People. You will collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations while providing excellent service to employees regarding HR-related inquiries.Applicants must be based in Cape Town and this is an office-based position.Duties & ResponsibilitiesUtilize Zoho People to manage and update employee records, including personal information, employment history, performance evaluations, and training records.Typing and formatting of CVs, contracts, and addendums.Conducting references and verification checks.Conducting regular audits on Zoho to ensure information is up to date and relevant.Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding process for internal employees and consultants, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and filed correctly in Zoho People.Generate and maintain reports related to HR metrics, such as employee turnover, attendance, and training progress, using Zoho People's reporting tools.Support HR processes such as performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and promotions by tracking relevant data and documentation in Zoho People.Collaborate with the HR team to implement and update HR policies and procedures within Zoho People to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, providing timely and accurate information and support.Maintain confidentiality and security of HR data in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.Stay updated on Zoho People's features and functionality, providing training and support to employees and managers as needed.Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes, systems, and employee experience.Desired Experience & QualificationBachelor's degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience as an HR Administrator or similar role, with proficiency in using Zoho People or other HR management systems.Solid understanding of HR practices, policies, and regulations.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing HR data and records.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, managers, and external partners.Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Team player.Familiarity with HR reporting and analytics is a plus.
