If you have a passion for luxury hospitality and strong leadership skills, this is your chance to shine in a top-tier environment!Job Title: Housekeeping ManagerLocation: Premier 5-Star Lodge, LimpopoSalary: Negotiable based on experienceWork Cycle: 3 weeks on, 1 week offBenefits: Laundry, accommodation, and meals while on dutyKey Responsibilities:Lead and Inspire: Supervise and train a dedicated housekeeping team to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Create and manage effective work schedules, oversee daily cleaning procedures, and provide ongoing staff development.Financial Stewardship: Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of the housekeeping budget, including labor and supply costs. Track departmental spending, manage invoices, and handle additional income from laundry services.Inventory Management: Maintain and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linen. Ensure adequate stock levels, place orders as necessary, and discuss major purchases with management.Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet high standards. Address any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.Guest Relations: Handle guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services. Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction, manage lost and found items, and assist with in-room safes.Health and Safety: Implement and enforce safety procedures and health regulations. Ensure staff adhere to proper protective equipment and emergency procedures. Document and report regular health and safety checks.Effective Communication: Collaborate with housekeeping staff and other departments (Spa, F&B, Maintenance, Front Office) to ensure seamless service and enhance guest experience.Performance Management: Conduct staff performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and recognize outstanding contributions.Laundry Operations: Develop and oversee procedures for handling guest laundry, including collection, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution. Maintain guidelines for various fabrics and stains.Requirements:Experience: 5 - 10 years in a similar managerial role within a 5-star lodge or hotel, managing 40 - 62 rooms.Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
