Housekeeping Manager

Manage the Housekeeping department efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Coordinate all activities, duties, and tasks with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner.
Ensure effective liaison between Reservations, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
Investigate complaints about services and equipment, and take corrective action.
Inspect and evaluate the physical conditions of facilities to determine the type of work to be done.
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of rooms and public areas.
Send daily maintenance issues that are unresolved by the end of the day to the Project Leader, Host Manager, and Facilities Manager.
Ensure guest property left behind is logged and stored in a secure location for lost property, and inform the Host Manager.
Ensure all rooms/units are serviced timely.
Maintain departmental records and reports.
Maintain inventory for staff canteens.
Ensure leave planners and policies are followed.
Ensure the departmental induction manual is up to date and introduced to all new staff.
Prepare and submit annual budgetary information and updates as required by the Financial Manager.
