Role Overview:
As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every corner of the estate reflects the highest standards of cleanliness and elegance. Your leadership and organisational skills will be key in managing and inspiring the housekeeping team to deliver impeccable service and maintain the estate's luxury reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of housekeepers to achieve and maintain exceptional cleanliness and service standards across the estate.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure adherence to luxury standards.
Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and efficiency of the housekeeping team, fostering a culture of excellence and attention to detail.
Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that resources are used efficiently.
Guest Relations: Handle guest requests and special requirements with professionalism, ensuring that all rooms and facilities meet or exceed guest expectations.
Administrative Duties: Manage scheduling, payroll, and other administrative tasks related to the housekeeping department, ensuring smooth operational flow.
Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining a safe and clean environment for both guests and staff.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role within a luxury hospitality setting, preferably in a wine estate or similar environment.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire a team to deliver outstanding results.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and cleanliness, with an eye for detail in every aspect of the housekeeping operation.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Organisational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of the estate and its guests.
