A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent SECTOR : Human Resources BASIC SALARY : R35 000 - R45 000 START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or equivalent Relevant HR Degree or Diploma in HR Management Minimum 5 years in Human Resources experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good People Management and relationship skills Must show initiative, be target driven and self-motivated Sound Management and People Skills Effective communication skills in Afrikaans & English DUTIES: Industrial Relations: Coaching and assisting managers and supervisors with Annual Performance Assessment Reviews Handling all Employee related problems, grievances and counselling Investigating disciplinary issues, drawing up charges, issuing Disciplinary Notices and required documentation pertaining to the outcome Monitoring all IR related policies and procedures and ensuring adherence to the HR Manual Preparing and representing the company at all CCMA dispute hearings Liaising/Meeting with Unions, verifying stop orders, addressing employee/member issues Chairing Union / Management Negotiations Chairing Team Talk Monthly Meetings and writing up minutes Training: Drawing up annual training budget/schedule in conjunction with line management and ensuring training takes place Authorizing and monitoring Training Requests to ensure training costs are within budget Compiling Annual Training Schedules for WSP and Ethical Audits Conducting Induction Training for new employees focusing on HR Policies & Procedures Coaching Supervisors and Team Leaders on Labour Practices/Issues Annual Learnership Intake: Assessments and SETA Learnership Contracts, Liaising with Training Service Providers and ongoing monitoring of Learnership training Compliance: Monitoring HR/IR practices/Policies & Procedures/Documentation to ensure legal and audit requirements are met Providing files, documentation and HR related information while statutory and ethical audits are being conducted Ensuring all statutory returns are completed and forwarded to required institutions timeously HR Admin: Compiling new and/or amending HR Policies and Procedures Drawing up Appointment Letters, Employment Agreements, Termination Agreements and any other HR Related Agreements, SLA's etc. Assisting with writing up Job Descriptions / KPA's for Performance Appraisals Carrying out Job Evaluation Assessments Compiling annual and ad hoc reports, schedules for managers and for ethical audits Preparing and compiling Annual People Budget/Increase Spreadsheets in conjunction with Line Managers Compiling Annual Increase Letters and liaising with Line Managers to ensure punctual distributing of letters Compiling and updating Organograms for Department Heads and for auditing purposes Checking and authorizing payment of invoices for BLU staff, Groceries, Stationery, Training, Recruitment Fees and other ad hoc payments Statutory Reports and Returns: Compiling and ensuring accurate submissions of EE, BBB-EE and WSP & ATR reports/returns timeously Capturing all required information on VIP payroll system to ensure accurate extraction of information for all statistical reporting Ensuring all statutory recons/reports, Workman's Compensation, PAYE, Skills Levy, etc. are completed and submitted timeously Completing and submitting Quarterly Employment Statistics Reports timeously Payroll: Salaries Approval / Authorization - verifying documentation and all payments, investigating/correcting/amending where necessary Monitoring and updating the payroll system to ensure correct setting up, accurate and up to date information and all parameters are correct Recruitment: Liaising with Line Managers to ensure ATR form is completed and within budget before commencing with the recruitment process Drawing up Job Specs and Vacancy Advertisements (Internal & for External Recruiting Recruitment Agencies) Liaising with Employment Agencies / Media, screening applications and forwarding to Managers Determining selection criteria in conjunction with Managers and setting up interviews Participating in the Interviews with managers and finalizing short-listed candidates Arrange second interview with short listed candidates, select successful candidate and finalize recruitment with recruitment agency (if involved) and draw up employment documentation Conducting Exit Interviews where necessary - assessing info and sharing with Departmental Managers HOURS: Monday to Friday: 08:00 17:00
