Our client in the Travel Industry is looking for a dynamic, organized and detail-orientated Hotel Reservations Coordinator to join their team based in Stellenbosch . About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Hotel Reservations Coordinator to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing hotel reservations, liaising with domestic and international hotels' reservations teams via email and telephone, and ensuring seamless communication to meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, particularly in written and spoken English, and a strong administrative background. Although prior experience in travel or bookings is advantageous, it is not essential. We are looking for a mature and reliable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. Key Responsibilities: Handle booking inquiries, modifications, and cancellations for both domestic and international hotels. Communicate with reservations teams via email and telephone, ensuring smooth coordination of bookings and addressing any issues promptly. Maintain accurate records, process reservations efficiently, and provide general administrative support as required. Ensure all reservations are handled professionally, addressing client queries with the highest level of customer service. Assist clients and hotels in English and Afrikaans (preferred). Additional languages such as Spanish, French, Portuguese, or German will be highly regarded. Key Requirements: Native or near-native English speaker (both written and verbal). Proficiency in Afrikaans is preferred. Fluency in other languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese, or German) will be a significant advantage. Full competency in Microsoft Outlook for email communication and scheduling. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain attention to detail. A background in travel, bookings, or reservations would be a plus, but a strong administrative background is also suitable. Mature and experienced candidates who are looking for a stable, long-term position. Must be reliable, proactive, and able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues alike.
