POSITION: Hotel/Lodge Maintenance Manager/SupervisorPlease don't apply if you don't have experience in a hotel/lodge environment.Only suitable candidates based on the position as laid out, will be considered.SALARY: R15 000*/month negotiable (*experience dependent)Drivers license required.Live out position.EXPERIENCE - ESSENTIAL - WITHIN A HOTEL/LODGE ENVIRONMENT3 to 5 years experience within a hotel/lodge environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Support of the smooth running of the property maintenance department, where all areas are maintained to the highest levels.Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.Delivers on plans and objectives where property maintenance initiatives and hotel targets are achieved.Supervises the maintenance team fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department.Accountable for ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.Takes ownership of the planned preventative maintenance programe addressing maintenance, environmental and conservation matters.Ensures adherence and compliance ot all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.REQUIREMENTS OF APPLICANTS:Experience in property maintenance.Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by example work style.Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.Ability to find creative solutions with proven problem-solving capabilities offering support where required.Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy.Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms.Strong communication skills.Must be able to work independently.High productivity level within requirements.Punctual, neat & presentable at all times.#J-18808-Ljbffr
