Position: Hotel Assistant Restaurant
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and setup of the restaurant for meal service
Greet guests and assist with seating arrangements
Take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff
Serve food and drinks to guests
Ensure that all guests are satisfied with their dining experience and address any concerns or issues promptly
Maintain a clean and organized dining area
Assist with restocking and inventory management
Collaborate with the rest of the restaurant team to ensure efficient and timely service
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy dining environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Team player with a positive attitude
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Working Conditions:
This is a fulltime position that requires working on board a luxury cruise ship.
The working environment is fastpaced and may involve long hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
The ships itinerary may also require travel to various destinations.
