As part of our development, we are looking to strengthen our IT Department in Cape Town and are looking for a Helpdesk Technician Second Line with a passion for new challenges within a dynamic and human-focused company.
Tasks The Helpdesk Technician Second Line at Capago manages the company's IT systems and is the main point of contact between employees and the IT department.
His/Her main mission is to provide technical support and assistance to the employees and maintain the operational conditions of the group's IT infrastructure.
? Managing the IT systems of the company Installing & configuring hardware and software, monitoring asset status, performing backups, and hardware maintenance ) ? Correcting IT Issues Receiving and managing requests sent to the department, diagnosing and taking corrective actions ? Assisting employees Responding to users' requests and assisting them by resolving their issues, providing proximity and distance support ? Managing IT-related projects for the group Preparing the opening of new centres, drafting procedures and communicating them, participating in IT projects for the group Requirements The skills required for this position are: Fluency in English and French; HTML coding experience mandatory; Organizational skills; Perseverance, rigour and precision ; Reactivity; Creativity; Technical skills and in search for innovations; Performance-driven mindset; Communication skills; Ability to work under pressure.
DIPLOMAS AND EXPERIENCE Matric & University degree or equivalent in computer science Studies in informatics and specialization in computer networks.
Experience in an IT team This position is to be fulfilled in/at: Cape Town - South Africa (onsite) Capago International operates since 2009 as The Schengen Link between governmental partners and applicants for what concerns visa outsourcing services.
We are the exclusive representative for the processing of Schengen visa applications on behalf of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in South Africa since 2010, in Kuwait since 2012, in Qatar since 2013, in Azerbaijan since 2017, in Benin, Togo, Guinea, Burkina Faso Mali in 2018, Sierra Leone in 2021.
Since 2011, Capago has also been the service provider of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in South Africa.
Furthermore, we operate on behalf of the Kingdom of Belgium in Burkina Faso.
Every year, Capago assists more than 175,000 travelers to apply for their Schengen visas for European destinations.
