The incumbent will collaborate directly with the CEO and the Executive Leadership team to shape the organization's direction and drive the long-term success of the Provest Group. Responsibilities Contributing to the development of Provest's growth strategies (Corporate, Marketing, and Sustainable Development Goals). Analyse and improve the current projects' systems and processes. Review the existing strategic projects. Conduct research and feasibility study on new projects before adoption or implementation. Play a critical role in driving and monitoring the implementation of the strategic goals. Drive and oversee progress on key strategic projects. Liaise and collaborate with business unit managers to identify strategic growth opportunities. Management of Capital expenditure, particularly the formulation of business cases for approval by Exco and the Board. Coordinate reporting, including Exco reports, Board packs, and annual reports. Effectively lead, guide, and direct Provest staff on project management methodologies. Determine the business viability of proposals for the acquisition of new partners/business in line with Provest Group's growth strategy. Develop and communicate strategy enablement plans for the Group. Qualifications Technical/managerial skills QUALIFICATIONS Essential: Grade 12 Certificate Postgraduate Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management or related studies Advantageous: Master of Business Administration (MBA) Certificate in Financial Management Certificate in Strategy Implementation TECHNICAL/MANAGERIAL SKILLS Project management Operations management Change management Budgeting Business performance management Knowledge of business legal requirements Safety, Health, and Environmental management Systems development and management Commercial and supply chain management Computer skills (MS Package) Business Development Continuous improvement (innovation) Report writing EXPERIENCE 5+ years' experience in business strategy, project management, continuous improvement, or business development PHYSICAL/LEGAL REQUIREMENTS Medically fit No criminal record Driver's license Sales / Retail / Business Development jobs
