Head of Physical Education and Athletic PerformanceStart date: 1 January 2025St Andrew's College is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to lead the Physical Education and Athletic Performance department. Along with a focus on strength and conditioning coaching for boys in Grade 8 – 12, the Head of Physical Education and Athletic Performance will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive physical education program for Grades 4–9. This includes the administration of Physical Education activities, resources, and facilities, as well as the creation and maintenance of a live pupil fitness database.Qualifications & Requirements:A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Exercise Science, Movement Science, or a related field is required, with a postgraduate qualification and certification in Strength and Conditioning (e.g., CSCS, NSCA) being advantageous.Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in physical education, athletic coaching, or strength and conditioning, particularly with youth and adolescent athletes.Candidates can apply by accessing and completing the application on the link below:Closing date for applications: Monday 30 September 2024.
