We offer a market related, Total Remuneration Package which allows full flexibility according to your needs, a great work environment and a promise that you won't be bored as long as you are prepared for a challenge and want to build something great.This position reports to the Executive Head: People and Transformation.Your responsibilities will include:Partner with the Divisional EXCO Members on all HR Related matters within their respective Divisions;Undertake specific projects in support of the respective Divisional business strategies in consultation with Management;Facilitate and manage the implementation of all HR policies and procedures across all Divisions;Advise, coach and support line managers and staff on the full range of HR functions and services, including:Employee RelationsPerformance ManagementTalent AcquisitionJob EvaluationOn-boardingRemuneration and BenefitsLearning and developmentEmployee WellnessOrganisational DesignEnsure compliance with all relevant HR legislation;Provide timeous, relevant and insightful HR management information;Ensure effective record keeping of all HR information;Facilitate and promote employee engagement and feedback;Manage daily payroll and HR related enquiries by employees including leave, overtime, etc.;Facilitate the development of training and development plans, execution of training and development and where required facilitate such in support of a learning cultureAccountable for the implementation of transformation initiatives linked to the group transformation plan including employment equity, skills development, reporting and planning;Support job evaluation and grading to ensure all roles are aligned, correctly graded and benchmarked;Assist operations to ensure that all remuneration principles are followed and adhered to.Accountable for employee data; ensuring all employee data and documentation is recorded on the relevant platform and updated based on standard operating procedures in support of transactional excellence;Manage a team of HR Professionals that could include HR Business Partner/s, HR Practitioner's, HR Officer's and Recruiter;Delivery of HR Strategic Projects.Attributes required:Experience in delivery in an HR advisory capacity preferably within the Retail Supply Chain and/or E-commerce environments;Ability to interact with people on all levels within the organisation;Resilience, proactive and adaptable: You are adaptable to change and optimistic in your outlook;Experience in coaching and consulting in a continuous changing environment;Influence and Interpersonal relationships: Ability to influence and interpret the needs of stakeholders, with a strong customer service orientation;Critical and logical analysis: Creative thinker with ideas that will drive efficiency and improve business processes;Data-centric, able to analyse, review and present qualitative and quantitative data.Communication and simplification: Distil the trends and messages from data in a clear, concise and articulate manner;Excellent oral - including presentation and facilitation - and written communication skills;Up to date with current technology, trends and best practices in relation to HR including current relevant HR legislation;Ability to work independently and as part of a team;Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all issues;Qualifications:A degree in HR or related fieldAt least 8 -10 years HR experience at a senior level in a retail, e-tail /ecommerce/Internet/ Information Technology environment/Supply Chain and/or Distribution Centre environmentMinimum of 5 years experience managing a team of HR ProfessionalsSound knowledge of labour laws and policies that govern the defined dutiesProven project management end to end skillsProven experience in Industrial Relations including the CCMAProven experience in Learning and DevelopmentThe Environment: takealot.com employees are entrepreneurial and dynamic, smart, customer- centric, fun and have the shared ambition of takealot.com being the leading e- commerce company in Africa.
