Our client in the Renewables Energy industry is currently looking for a Head of Marketing, in Randburg, Johannesburg.We are looking for an experienced Marketing Lead to drive top down strategy to ultimately deliver commercial growth and sustainability. This role involves overseeing the entire marketing function through strategizing and executing marketing campaigns, and managing relationships and outputs of our agency partners. The ideal candidate will preferably have a robust marketing background in the solar or renewable energy sector and a track record of successful brand management, commercial growth and execution.Responsibilities include:Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that will drive brand growth and market share.Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities across channels.Lead the planning and execution of digital and traditional marketing campaigns.Oversee the management of outsourced service providers, including digital marketing agencies, content creators, and public relations firms.Analyze market trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and key issues.Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results, ensuring an efficient ROI.Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring all marketing activities are cost-effective.Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of company goals and marketing strategy.Foster a data-driven approach to marketing, leveraging analytics to drive decisions.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a marketing role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.Preference for experience in a B2C environment.Proven experience managing marketing teams and outsourced service providers.Strong understanding of the solar or renewable energy industry is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.Clear history of growing brands.Demonstrable experience in media planning.Strong analytical and project management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in digital marketing techniques, CRM, Data, Google products, SEO, social media, content development, and website management.Core skills:Strategic thinker with a creative mindset.Excellent leadership and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.Passionate about renewable energy and environmental sustainability.
