Head of Marketing - Core Computer Business The Core Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Marketing to lead marketing efforts across our Core Computer Business brands. In this senior role, you will develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, engage customers, and drive business growth.
Based in Gauteng and reporting directly to the Core Group CEO, you will oversee a marketing team and work closely with senior leaders to ensure marketing activities are aligned and effective across all Core Computer Business brands.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field. An Honours degree is advantageous.Experience Required: 10+ years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a senior marketing position.Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.Strong experience in managing relationships with senior stakeholders and executives.Proven ability to lead and develop marketing teams.Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for the Core Computer Business brands, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and budget constraints.Lead digital marketing efforts to enhance the company's online presence, increase customer engagement, and drive sales growth.Oversee the creation and management of marketing materials, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and positioning.Conduct market analysis to monitor trends, understand competitor activities, and refine marketing strategies accordingly.Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, assessing effectiveness and return on investment (ROI), and making data-driven improvements as needed.Manage cross-functional marketing projects in collaboration with other departments to support overall business goals.Provide leadership to the marketing team, fostering professional development, collaboration, and alignment with company objectives.Strong strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to align marketing initiatives with business goals.Proven skills in developing and executing effective marketing strategies.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.Creative and adaptable, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.Knowledge of CRM systems and digital marketing tools.Effective leadership and team management capabilities.
