The Role: We are seeking a visionary and experienced leader to oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure. As Head of IT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the various teams that design, implement, maintain, and optimise our hosting platforms, data center IT operations, Office IT services and cybersecurity measures. You will play a critical role in ensuring our infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure to meet the ever-growing needs of our valued customers. This role forms part ofxneelo's senior leadership team.
Responsibilities: Lead the IT infrastructure teams, fostering a high-performing environment.
Promote autonomy, mastery and purpose, and strengthen the self-organising culture within teams to create an environment where people and product flourish.
Working with your teams, develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy aligned with company goals and customer demands.
Oversee the broad set of engineering and operational activities across the teams.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of infrastructure with overall business objectives.
Foster a customer-centric mentality within the IT infrastructure team, prioritising customer uptime and satisfaction.
Structure your department to deliver on the strategic objectives of the business as efficiently and innovatively as possible.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in large-scale IT infrastructure management.
Proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing IT teams.
Strong understanding across the broad range of IT infrastructure technologies.
Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and implementation of security measures.
Excellent organisational, administrative, communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
