Head Of Department: Sales

Our client, a long-standing retail nursery, is looking for a Head of Sales to join their team.
The purpose of this role is to develop new markets and manage all aspects of sales from receiving orders through to transporting product to customers.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or related field.Minimum of 5 years of Sales Management experience.Agriculture experience advantageous.Team management experience.Proven ability to build strong working relationships with clients.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Pastel experience advantageous.Computer literate.Driver's license.Willingness to travel.Responsibilities Processes orders for timeous delivery.Maintains and updates the photo catalogue and website.Manages the activities of agents and representatives.Liaises with customers and networks with other players in the industry.Liaises with propagation and production departments.Manages existing clients.Manages a team of nationally based Sales Representatives.Attending roadshows.Competencies Excellent communication skills.Interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently.Customer service.Sales and Marketing knowledge.Open-minded.Takes initiative.Curious and open to learning.Desired Skills Sales.Retail.Sales Manager.
