Are you looking to lead the operations of a prominent financial services firm's collective investments division? A prestigious financial services company is seeking a talented individual to spearhead their Collective Investments Operations team. You will be responsible for developing strategy and ensuring the effective coordination and implementation of all strategic and operational initiatives across the company's collective investment scheme in line with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the full Collective investment scheme, product life cycle, operations, client experience, distribution enablement and defining the road map of strategic and operational priorities across all business areas.Develop the strategy and implementation of the road map items across all areas of the Collective Investment scheme.Implement appropriate governance and oversight initiatives to ensure effective operations of all responsible areas across the business.Develop and implement appropriate tools and forums to drive the effective prioritisation and implementation of all strategic and operational initiatives.Lead the prioritization and operational forums and actively participate in all other forums and committees.Prepare reports and support feedback to all forums, governance committees and the Board on strategic priorities and initiatives.Develop and enablement of tools and technology for new business and existing business.To represent the company on all industry and market committees and initiatives.To build, develop and maintain key strategic partnerships that will foster and sustain a strong company capability in the market.Provide authoritative expertise and advice to distribution partners, clients and stakeholders.Build, maintain and manage relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.Contribute to the process of negotiating objective and realistic service level agreements, monitor appropriateness and recommend adjustments.Deliver service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders to ensure that client expectations are managed.Show care upon every client touchpoint, to deliver an exceptional experience.Contribute and make recommendations to improve the overall operating model and operational areas.Plan and implement efficiencies and improvements across all areas to drive a more sustainable operating model.Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service through an effective operating model.Keep abreast of legislation and best practices in order to gain insights on optimal capabilities and value creation in retention and new business initiatives.Keep abreast of current market developments and industry best practices.Keep abreast of emerging technology and digital trends that can lead to operational efficiencies.Create a positive work climate and culture to energise employees, give meaning to work, minimise work disruption and maximise employee productivity.Demonstrate exemplary leadership behaviour, through personal involvement, guidance, commitment, and dedication in support of organisational values.Drive a culture that guides and directs best practice, fostering an environment of continuous learning, improvement, and cohesiveness.Enable a learning and growth culture whereby information regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas are actively shared between team members.Identify employee growth and development needs and schedule interventions to enable ongoing development, training and personal growth.Effectively manage performance within the team to ensure business objectives are achieved.Encourage innovation, change agility and collaboration within the team.Compile and control budgets to minimise expenditure in alignment with tactical delivery plans.Implement risk management, governance, compliance policies and ensure there are documented procedures in own practice area, to identify and manage governance and risk exposure liability.Manage and coordinate all reviews by Internal audit, External audit and any other assurance providers.Promote and adhere to the company's values: Accountability, Diversity, Excellence, Innovation, Integrity and Teamwork. Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
7 years' relevant business experience.Experience in enabling collective investments strategy.Hons Degree in the relevant area of Commerce.MBA, CFP, CFA or other professional qualification will be an advantage.
