Head Of Business Unit

Our Fintech client has an opening for a Head of Business Unit for their lending team.They seek an individual who has an entrepreneurial spirit and can lead and build a team to its full potential. In this role, you will be required to:Define strategic objectives of the business; business planning, and financial planning and set the direction of the business in line with the strategy required by my clientManage and oversee 3 credit product portfoliosPrepare financial spreadsheets and models to support new and existing credit products.Responsible for the full Profit and loss (P&L) of the DivisionManage risk and control effectively by applying applicable risk frameworks and embedding a positive risk culture.Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and driving necessary changes within the divisionWork closely with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, and Development teams to drive and coordinate product initiativesQualifications, Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields.4+ years of proven experience in a similar senior roleIndustry experience is highly advantageous (banking/retail/merchant).Proven experience in managing a business and or a division within an Organization.System development experience is advantageous.Proven marketing, sales, and operational experience.Evaluating Risk Management EffectivenessEmbracing Change
