Your contribution will be
Overseeing the daily operations of the Animal Welfare department at LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary with around 100 big cats
Managing the department's personnel and administrative needs
Strategic planning of future expansions according to internal needs and intake capacity
Networking with relevant external stakeholders
Contributing to the development of the Sanctuary including operational facilities, the education and volunteer program in accordance with the strategic objectives of FOUR PAWS
Collaborating with our international colleagues on rescue missions, health and husbandry standards and scientific projects
Your profile ideally illustrates
Extensive experience in captive wildlife management
Proven management experience including budget responsibilities
Understanding of and experience in safety management
Master in Zoology or similar discipline
Willingness to relocate to Bethlehem, Free State, South Africa
Willingness to work on weekends and on standby
Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
