Reports to: Venue Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at Drosberg Function Venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating exceptional culinary experiences for our clients and their guests, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute menus for weddings, conferences, and special events
Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation
Control kitchen inventory, ordering, and cost management
Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure seamless execution of events
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and industry developments

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
Formal culinary training and qualifications
Proven track record of delivering exceptional culinary experiences
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
