Candidate Requirements:Formal Chef QualificationAt least 5+ years of Chef Experience required in 5-star hotels or lodgesMust have experience in preparing fine dining 5-star cuisineMust have a strong knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen equipmentGood knowledge and experience in special requirements such as kosher foodMenu planning for guests as well as staff members and having the ability to cost menusMaintaining and overseeing all kitchen staffStaff training and development Passion for food and the food experienceAbility to lead a team of people effectively and to think and act creatively within a teamThe ability to motivate staff to consistently deliverAbility to work flexibly and have strong management skills, day-to-day, and long termWell-spoken and presented individual who is able to work under pressure and think on their feetLive in position with a work cycle of 21 days on 7 days off and 15 annual days leave.
