H&S Officer

Job Title: Health and Safety Officer Location: Limpopo, Waterberg District, Lephalale Job Type: 6 month Contract, expected to work full-time hours Job Duties: Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards Provide safety training to employees and contractors Investigate and report on accidents and near misses Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation Participate in safety audits and risk assessments Maintain safety records and documentation Required Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Management Certification in SHE standards Proven experience working in a health and safety role Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience: Minimum of 5 years in SHE compliance on large-scale construction projects.
Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification Ability to develop and deliver health and safety training Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
