We are looking for a creative, dynamic, quick-thinking and quick-learning Guest Experience Coordinator (itinerary planner) role based in Cape Town, in a boutique luxury travel company. Must have a passion for sourcing the unique and the "unknown", be very strong with understanding and planning logistics, have a pain-staking eye for detail, be curious, willing to learn from mistakes and be pro-active about problem-solving, a great communicator (verbal and written), and ideally someone who is naturally leans towards "out the box" thinking.RequirementsREQUIREMENTS:Cape-town based (hybrid role - offices are currently in Greenpoint) and Cape Town knowledgeable. Client management, tactful complain resolution, flexibility around guest needs and preferences, willingness to "show-up" for guestsBe willing to be on call outside of traditional office hours - may need to man company phone line at timesAbility to come up with creative itineraries for guests to experience their destinations in a personalised mannerKnowledge of the travel sphere, what is known and what is unique so as to craft special experiencesPain-staking attention to detail is a MUSTAbility to independently research, reach out to and follow-up with partners, create the physical itinerary, communicate proactively and effectively with suppliers for accuracy and creativity, ensuring logistics are exact and accurateAdvise on group travelBasic accounting abilities - calculating costs of itineraries to accurately quote and invoiceIntuitive & pro-active problem-solvingAbility to work independently but also reach out to manager and the team of help and ideas.
