REPORTS TO: Branch Manager
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The responsible person ensures that all GROW Daily operations regarding stakeholder liaison, team schedules, equipment and work is implemented and maintained. Reporting on all operational issues and incidents to the Branch Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN FUNCTIONS

Assist the Branch Manager with prospective business clients and stakeholder development relating to GROW. Liaise with branch fundraiser when necessary.
Present requested quotes to be administered with the assistance of the Administrator.
Scheduling and implementing shifts according to the budget in conjunction with the Branch Administrator.
Motivating and mentorship of participants.
To see that shelter beneficiaries participate in developmental programme offerings including therapeutic, spiritual enrichment, and other skills training.
Provide inputs to the Branch Manager and assist with the process of selection and training of Team Leaders.
Deployment of teams – ensuring teams have adequate equipment, dress code, protective clothing, and knowledge of their allocated area and duty.
Provide oversight and accompany ad hoc or special teams to worksites for monitoring and delegate supervisory persons when needed.
Overseeing teams return – assisting supervisors in solving issues at report back/signing off time.
Follow up of teams in the field, training, and rating of Team Leaders.
Assist in identifying prospective work or income-generating sites or activities.
Reporting and assistance in handling complaints and disputes according to disciplinary and complaints procedure with the Branch Manager.
Facilitating disciplinary issues, warnings, coaching, and informing other departments of decisions made in liaison with the branch manager.
Keeping record of participants' scores and shifts and submitting supporting documents to the branch administrator for payment.
Prepare for next day shifts and roster and assist the shelter supervisor in this regard.
Ensure all depots have adequate equipment and materials. Check all returned tools/equipment for order and report any defects or those needing attention or repair.
Liaise with drivers regarding worker schedules and transport and confirm pick-ups and collections.

Administration

Filing of all administration-related documents accordingly, including any worksheets or registers made available for GROW participants.
Record keeping of all team leader training schedules and meetings.
Make inventory of equipment and materials that are part of GROW.
Assist the Branch Administrator to prepare stipend records for payment of GROW voluntary workers each month.
Prepare monthly statistics relating to the GROW programme relevant for monitoring and evaluation.
Keep records and communicate effectively whilst coordinating GROW related activities and schedules.

Reporting
Reports to the Branch Manager monthly, and when requested.
Provide feedback on beneficiaries to social workers as part of monitoring behavioural change and identifying development needs.
REQUIREMENTS

Social Auxiliary Work qualification, Community Development qualifications, or any relevant qualification/experience in stakeholder engagement, operational and/or coordination, project management, or similar.
An entrepreneurial and/or business-minded individual.
Experience in the Non-Profit Sector would be an advantage.
Ability to build relationships, lead, and empower people.
Strong administrative, reporting, and communication skills.
Driver's License.
Good teamwork, planning, organising, coordinating, negotiation, and sales skills.
Ability to sell an idea to potential business partners and negotiate healthy partnerships.
